Fix a Bike Flat Tire Once you remove the wheel, force the deflated tire off the rim, starting opposite the valve, then separate tire and tube. If the leak is a large tear, throw the tube out. To locate a pinhole leak, inflate the tube and feel for escaping air. If necessary, dunk the tube in water and look for bubbles. Apply a patch over the hole. The repair should last the life of the tire. Before remounting the tire, wipe the inside of it clean with a dry cloth to remove any sharp objects that might puncture the tube. Then work the lip of the tire onto half of the rim. Tuck the tube inside the tire, and insert the valve into its rim hole. DJ Cuppy Celebrity disk jockey DJ Cuppy has offered to join Nigerian mixed martial arts fighter Israel Adesanya as passenger in his proposed Rolls Royce. Sources report that Adesanya defended his UFC middleweight belt after a second-round beatdown of Brazilian Paulo Costa on Sunday in Abu Dhabi. Taunting Costa in a tweet on Monday, the Nigerian wrote:- “me gets a new Rolls Royce drop-top coupe. Police: How much did that set ya back kid? Me: Oh this…it COSTA lot.�” Cuppy tweeted in response:- “Best believe I’m sitting passenger and we’re playing Fela LOUD!” Adesanya drew widespread commendation from Nigerians and the world after his surprisingly easy victory over Costa. ASUU Strike The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ‎Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil (ASUU-KUST), has advised stakeholders to prevail on the Federal Government (FG) to fulfil its promises towards ending the ongoing strike.‎ The call was made on Friday in a statement jointly signed by Muhammad Gaya and Murtala Muhammad, chairman and secretary of the association‎, and issued in Kano, NAN reports.‎ Gaya urged parents, students, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and other stakeholders to triumph on the FG to honour the agreements reached with the union, and re-negotiate to address the issues at stake to end the lingering strike by its members. “The Federal Government recently introduced Integrated Public Pay Information System (IPPIS), which undermines university autonomy and grossly incompatible with the university system.‎ “It is important to note that the Federal Government has subjugated our members in the University of Maiduguri and Michael Okpara ‎University of Ag...

Toke Makinwa Controversial Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has said a prayer for all mothers and their sons as she prayed all women will find a woman like them as their wife. The 35-year-old divorced wife said this prayer in reaction to a tweet a fellow made and according to the Instagram celebrity, her son will be lucky to marry someone like her. “Dear woman, may all your sons marry the exact kind of woman you are.
