There's a lot of information out there. Here's how to find the right face covering for you. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site. Do you wear cloth masks? Yep, they get the job done, and I like to personalize them. Nope, I only wear medical-grade masks. We looked through the latest medical research to evaluate some of the most popular masks out

Get That Job! Eight Ways To Interview With Confidence

Image
We are born with complete confidence. My best proof is my 10-month-old daughter. Her walk is shaky, she constantly falls down and she can’t really communicate. Still, she never thinks twice about getting up again to try and navigate across a room and interact with others. She is not special in these behaviors. All healthy babies do the same thing. They have not learned to lack confidence in their abilities, be nervous when addressing others, or be anxious when all the attention is on them. Most of us adults are not this lucky. We can remember past failures. We second-guess ourselves. And, unfortunately, our learned lack of self-confidence is harmful at the most important times in life, like interviewing for a job you want and need. To make matters worse, research shows that, on average, interviewers reach final decisions about applicants in only four minutes after meeting them. In this time there is little more to evaluate than how you look and speak, how you carry yourself, an

hair loss.<br />GettyImages Finding a simple way to boost hair regrowth remains a challenge for researchers. A new paper claims that micro LEDs might be the answer we have been looking for. Hair loss affects millions of people, globally. For some, it is of little concern, but for others, it can impact both self-esteem and confidence. For these people, finding a way to regrow hair as quickly as possible is important. The causes of hair loss are very varied; they can include genetic factors, long-term stress, ageing, and higher levels of male hormones. Despite years of dedicated research, boosting hair growth is still hit and miss, expensive, painful, or all of the above. The current options include a drug called minoxidil (a vasodilator), corticosteroid injections, and hair transplant surgery. Away from the pitfalls of drugs and surgery, some researchers are turning to the potential use of light. A new study investigates the possibility of a wearable, light-b

Bible Saves Woman From Bullet Fired By Assassins (Photos)

Bettie Nel and boyfriend An elderly woman escaped death during a farm attack after a bullet missed her and became lodged in her Bible. The attack reportedly took place on Saturday night outside Mahikeng in the North West. Netwerk24  reported that Bettie Nel, 82, was woken by noises and encountered two attackers in the passage of the house. After throwing a doorstop at them, a shot was fired and the suspects fled. The bullet missed Nel and hit the Bible on the side table next to her bed. Nel's daughter, Noeline Ferreira, 61, and Ferreira's boyfriend, Thys Pienaar, 63, sustained head injuries after reportedly being attacked in bed with the handle of a pickaxe and a flashlight. The bible Netwerk24 reports that six suspects stole a firearm and cellphones. According to that publication, no one has been arrested. Is the Way To A Man’s Heart Through His Stomach?

Image
“Cook for him, surprise him with meals, and learn to make his favourite meal so that he will not go outside.” For many a woman, one of the ways to show your partner that you are prepared for marriage is by cooking. Because of this, women spend their early lives in the kitchen. Yet, the evolving society continues to question the ideals that we were raised with. The best cooks still have cheats as partners. There are happy marriages, some claim, where the couple does not cook. After all, they argue there is a reason chefs and restaurants exist. In another class, there are men who never tasted their wife’s meal but still chose them. Still, there are some who believe that if they must eat, they must learn to cook. These kind are specific with what goes in through their mouth. Then there is the problem of monotony and man’s desire to explore other people’s meals. Seven Tips For Making Perfect BBQ Every Time

Image
BBQ Chicken Lately I have been obsessed with Barbecued Chicken and all things grilled. There’s a reason why great BBQ’s are cherished and that is because it can be tough to get it right, especially if you are a novice. To ensure you make perfect BBQ every time, here are some tips that will come in handy. Lid on The best way to grill food is with the lid on. If the food is not covered, a lot of heat will be lost, the food will get dry and it takes even longer to cook which can be exasperating. To get the right taste and enjoy grilled meat you want it to be tender and moist. If you are using a grill that has no lid, fret not. You can get a disposable foil pan and place it upside down to cover the food. Problem solved. Right temperature Grilling at the right temperature is very important. If it is too hot the meat will most likely burn on the outside and barely cook on the inside. Just before you start grilling, pre-heat the grill at least 15 minutes prior. Th

Is Age Difference Important In Considering Who To Marry? Here's What Nigerians Are Saying

Image
Age difference doesn’t matter in a relationship – Ademeso Oluwatosin Even though I’m a lady, I could get married to someone younger than I am; the most important factor in marriage to me is love and understanding. Age does not really determine if you will respect your partner or not. For a woman, submission has to do with your attitude. Even if a woman marries a man 10 years older than her, if she is not submissive, she won’t respect the man. Personally, if I want to marry someone older than I am, the maximum age difference for me will be eight years and the minimum age difference will be four years; this is my personal opinion. Age difference is important – Toluwalope Obadipe As for me, age difference is very important. I don’t think I would want to marry someone younger than me or my age mate for reasons best known to me. However, in my opinion, the maximum age difference I can consider for someone older than I am is a seven-year gap. Age is just a number – Orimadike Chi

The Biggest And Most Expensive iPhone Ever

Image
File Photo The legendary co-founder of Apple, Inc., Steve Jobs, detested big phones and wouldn’t produce them. His successor, Tim Cook, apparently felt differently; borrowed a leaf from Samsung’s playbook on big phones, and produced iPhone 6S, which is the first large-screen iPhone. The result was the astronomical rise in Apple’s capitalization; thanks in part to the then newly-bred middle class in China. Now it seems that Apple can’t stop! One of the iPhones unveiled last week Wednesday, 12 September 2018; called iPhone XS Max, would be the biggest iPhone ever, with a diagonal of 6.5 inches. It is also the most expensive phone that Apple has ever produced. People love large-screen smartphones, the same way they love large-screen TVs. Research has shown that people with larger phones use them more. Besides the XS Max, the XS and XR models were also unveiled at last week’s event. The XS is like the regular annual upgrade, to iPhone X in this case. This is basically the new iPho

Some parents consider such juices as pacifiers and freebies during birthday parties, ignoring the health implications that might be associated with such.
